midi.μ player

This is a tiny midi player for your website that'll fit just about anywhere. Here, it's down in the footer of each page. Click play to start listening to midis. If you want the music to continue you as you browse, you can right-click it to pop it out into a new window or tab. Depending on your browser you may need to enable the media autoplay permission for playback to function correctly (because it refreshes the page on track change.)

A lot of tracks I wanted to add had to be cut because they sound atrocious in this soundfont. I'm trying to figure out how to make it work with a better one. Sorry about that. In the meantime, I'll try to curate some tunes that work well with it.

This is heavily based on SilverHawk's Rad Music Player. I simplified the UI, added some features, fixed a couple bugs, and set it up so the music will never auto-play.Websites should never automatically start playing sound. The code still needs to be cleaned up a bit, but you're welcome to view the source and use it. See footer.html, footerm.html and player.css.

Keyboard shortcuts: J for previous track, K for pause/play, L for next track and I for instant track access. Unfortunately you need to click inside the frame first, so these are only really useful in pop-out mode.
